Time-honored joinery and hand-crafted finishes showcase artisanship, while slatted patterns and varied hues lend a modern touch. The textured slats produce visual effects and dynamic shadows as the door shifts, adding playful energy and artistry. This blend honours classic methods whilst incorporating modern materials, ensuring functionality and expression.
Roentgen is a nightstand designed for the bedroom. Roentgen is made of solid wood and holds two sets of drawers, visible and hidden. When a false bottom drawer is pulled outward and turned, five hidden small drawers appear. Two visible small drawers and one large drawer with built-in charging points for electronic devices are also provided. A wireless charger is set in an upper corner. Push to open fittings and metal runners are used. The design refers to 18th century mechanical furniture with secret compartments.
