This is a project that has very close relation with the characteristics of the Japanese design, are fine, delicate edges that express the value of drawing without the need for large volumes. The laser cut in the pieces of metal laminated wood generate a present and constant volume, the upholstery in linen warms the design making it inviting and more human.

Waveform

Waveform is a series of modular bookcases which represent the undulating waves of the sea. The design consists of three different units which can stand alone as a single bookcase or combined in any configuration. The vertical blades change progressively from side to side and top to bottom. The design concept for the bookcase is to appear as a series of waves hung on the wall disguising it's true function until viewed from a perpendicular angle.

TwiStool

The TwiStool is a veneer stool drawing inspiration from its Scandinavian context and it has high utility with low production costs. Aesthetically, a variation of forms are presented when looked from different angles thanks to its dynamic twisting design. Functionally, The frame detail makes the stool ergonomically comfortable as well as being easily portable. The TwiStool uses vacuum press technique, forming 2D material to 3D object with natural textures and additional strength. It only needs one mold to produce all three legs, thus significantly reduces the costs.

Edge

The lines in this hand tufted rugs are stitched with a thread made of banana fiber. Stitching gives the rug another dimension and adds more depth to the design. The designer did choose to use the square and the triangel in combination to find the desired form. For the aqua colored rug 100% bamboo fiber is used.The mustard colored rug is tufted with NZ wool and with some added bamboo fiber for extra shine and softness.

Glance

This is a mirror called GLANCE that show you immediatly how you can look with an outfit without wear it, it has also an hanger behind. the structure is selfstanding so you don't need a wall to fix it. The head mirror and the lower hanger are adjustable in height so it can be used from tall and short people. The mirror has an essential design so you can easly put it in bedroom or a shop.

Aero

This piece stands out due to its aerodynamic shapes and the lightness of its structure, as its main inspiration are the silhouettes of the first airplanes from the early 20th century. The glass at the top has a shape inspired on an airplane wing and projects a ray of color that can be seen on the floor or the walls of the space. The purpose of the designer is to go beyond a simple storage unit, it intends to generate a bold and pleasant sensation for the user.
