Bamboo Bow

The bamboo bow table takes advantage of the physical toughness of bamboo, which uniquely expresses the beauty of mechanics. It meets consumer's pursuit of the sense of value of bamboo furniture. High quality adult bamboo is used, and it is flattened through an unfolding technique. The structure utilizes the natural toughness of the bamboo fiber, and each layer of the bamboo sheet is stacked with detachable metal screws to fasten one another. Thanks to the physical property of bamboo, which will have more possibilities to apply on furniture in the future.

Clover

The structure of the stool is inspired by the classic Romanesque arch and the top surface is in the shape of a four-leaf clover. Each "leaf" is made by pieces of wood strips in mosaic pattern. The curvy stool legs are carved by CNC machine in the first step and then fine tuned by hand polishing. Connected by a bespoke mortise and tenon joint in the center, it ensures the stability of the structure, in addition, breaks the traditional orthodox image of Chinese woodwork. This piece of creature integrates modernity and heritage in terms of both design and crafts.

Gis

Gis is a three legged wooden chair with bronze feet and is carved out from two walnut logs with exquisite craftsmanship to seem as a sculpture. The wood knots and scars are remained exposed to give the objects a special characteristic. Despite its uncanny appearance, Gis is ergonomic due to the careful design of curves and angles. The design is an exploration of solid wood possibilities and also is a walk on the edge of Art and Design, Beauty and Function.
