For many small homes the dining table is also used as a workspace. Lilla is helpful in creating a dynamic fusion between a dining table and a desk. To utilize the volume a table takes up more efficiently the Lilla table has storage space for kitchenware on one side and office supplies on the other. The tabletop is conveniently split in two for ease when storing or retrieving items. The inside has deep felt pockets to keep items organized and in place.
Continue readingThe Raster side table interacts with people by using the concept of building solids out of individual cubes of space. In this case 20mm blocks were the driving factor. Raster gives the illusion that this table is in the process of being made by assembling these blocks; conversely, it can be interpreted as a dissolving table.
Continue readingTrio Bench is a geometrical bench made of walnut wood, fabric, and leather that seats up to 4 persons. However, by adjusting 2 upholstered pieces of the original structure, and unfolding its headrest, the user creates 2 new full-body reclining positions with utmost comfort. It was created for a private residence with a limited space. Hence it functions as sofa and it offers a Chez-lounge experience at the same time. The design slickly sharpen from both ends to create a more pleasant aesthetics. Trio Bench is 2.6 meter long, 0.80 meter width and 0.43 meter hight.
Continue readingMove is a rocking armchair made by 30 solid pieces of ash wood. It owes its remarkable complexity to a double curved and closed structure. The first structure supports the seat and the backrest, while the second supports both and allows the movement. The connection is in the lower part where the two structures touch each other at their greatest curving point (statically a highly critical point). The lightness of the curved parts and the dynamism give this rocking armchair its unparalleled and unique beauty.

Continue readingOrganic lines inspired by underwater sea life. A shisha pipe like a mysterious animal getting alive with every inhalation. My idea of design was to uncover all interesting processes that take place in the pipe such as bubbling, smoke flow, fruit mosaic and the play of lights and thus provide demanding smoker additional value into very traditional concept of smoking a water pipe. Shishas are designed to be prepared with real fruit pieces - cocktail in glass corpus - which has never been done before. This enhance the experience not only visually, but it also strongly affects the final taste.
