Round backed Bench

The chair is made of a combination of traditional chairs and benches. It represents young people's deconstruction of traditional furniture culture. The traditional arm chair represents a serious culture of literati and is a symbol of rank and identity, with strict requirements on the user’s sitting position. The design combines the two elements to reconstruct the classical furniture with modern and stylish design language, creating a new sitting experience.

Metal frame and seat plus backrest made in wood cnc machinered for an optimal confort and look. The optional upholstered seat makes Midori even more valuable and places it in an even higher market segment

The purpose of this design is to use one chair to meet people's needs at different stages. With the advantage of being detachable, children can use chairs with lowered legs. When they grow up or their parents, use the chair after raising the chair legs, in order to reduce the loss of wood. And when parents and children disassemble the chair. Not only can increase parent-child interaction, but also to develop children's intelligence and cultivate their awareness of protecting the environment.

Goby by Tonik, Designed by Karim Rashid

Tonik is a hospitality furniture brand wrapped around a full blown design statement that pushes beyond boundaries and transforms everyday spaces into funky slices of paradise that connect people. Tonik is also a designer collective and works with the best and brightest minds, including the uber-cool, industrial design-guru (drumroll sold separately) Karim Rashid. Tonik embodies the American spirit: different people from different backgrounds that relish deep discussions of differing opinions, bringing the world closer together.

Darkside

The whole idea was taken from the album's cover "Dark side of the moon" of the band Pink Floyd. Using stainless steel and acrylic, the Darkside is a stool or side table that makes a good impression in your living room or even in your bedroom. Every aspect of the design was a part of the album cover. The triangle base is the prism. The colors of the prism are the enforcement that connects the two triangles bases. The transparency of the prism is the seat.

CARVED 2

Naoki Terada’s stunning new clock designs are Carved. Subtle, yet noticeable, the numbers on the clocks are carved indents cut so close to the edge of the faces that the top of them are chopped off. The shadows of the carved-out letters bring a 3-dimensional impression to the clock face, with its appearance changing in accordance with lights located in its immediate area. The idea was inspired by materials used for interior decoration and technical conversion. On the updated design, the letters carved into the clock face are only 2mm in width. The smart fonts give a sharp and clean impression.
