This product has been designed in a way to be kept as light as possible (4kg) considering all aspects of its functionality. This aim has been reached by choosing light weight materials and hallow frames to keep the weight of the product as low as possible.

Marken Desk

The visually lightweight feeling of this elegant and yet strong desk takes us back to the scandinavian school of design. The awkward shape of the legs, the way they lean to the front almost like a lordly gesture of greeting, reminds us of the silouette of a noble man with his hat off greeting a lady. The desk welcomes us to use it. The shape of the drawers, like separate limbs of the desk, with their hanging sensation and a front personified look, scans the room like watchful eyes.

5x5

The 5x5 chair is a typical design project where the limitation is recognised as a challenge. The chair's seat and the back are made of xilith which is very difficult to be shaped. Xilith is the raw material that can be found 300 meters under the ground's surface and is comined with a coal. Currently the majority of the raw material is thrown away. From environmental point of view this material generates waste on the earth's surface. Therefore the idea about the chair design seemed to be very provocative and challenging.

The main idea of creating the Seating for station is to create simple and comfortable and easily installated seatings. The Seatings consist of only two identical parts, connected with the help of simple furniture connectors with the embdedded details on the construction of seats and backs. The form of Seatings is ergonomical and simple. The Seatings can be manufactured of plywood, plastic. The legs can be made of aluminium, reinforced plastic. The colour desicion can be variable. The legs can be produced of aluminium and painted steel.
