Grid/Electro

Electro is a first item from Grid series, which shows the symbol of energy in product design. Since fire was the first discovered type of energy, candlestick became the first item in this series. Product base is a well-known typical form of modern landscape - electric power lines, which are one of the most typical symbols of the age of industrialization. By scaling such an exterior element, we bring it into interior in a new content - as a candlestick.

Vigvam

Vigvam is a lightweight and easy to transport or storage item. It consists of plywood veneered base and a set of hooks in the form of stylized deer antlers. The inspiration of this project comes from light-weight and stable construction of vigvam - a typical form of home of Indians. Also, vigvam form was widespread among other nomadic tribes. Since most of these tribes were hunters we also added antlers as a symbol of deers. Deer antlers is an old symbol of protection, welfare and guarding.

Coq

Patrick Sarran created the Coq cheese trolley in 2012. The strangeness of this rolling item excites diners' curiosity, but make no mistake, this is primarily a working tool. This is achieved by means of a stylized varnished beech structure topped by a cylindrical red lacquered cloche which can be hung at the side to reveal an assortment of matured cheeses. Using the handle to move the cart, opening the box, sliding the board out to make a space for the plate, rotating this disc to cut portions of cheese, the waiter can develop the process into a little piece of performance art.
