Meduse Pipes

Organic lines inspired by underwater sea life. A shisha pipe like a mysterious animal getting alive with every inhalation. My idea of design was to uncover all interesting processes that take place in the pipe such as bubbling, smoke flow, fruit mosaic and the play of lights and thus provide demanding smoker additional value into very traditional concept of smoking a water pipe. Shishas are designed to be prepared with real fruit pieces - cocktail in glass corpus - which has never been done before. Folded Tones

Rugs are inherently flat, the goal was to challenge this simple fact. The illusion of three-dimensionality was achieved with just three colours. Its intricate form and pattern is derived from a basic "Toranj", a mathematical pattern used in Iranian architecture; from which a smooth transition between two layers of a strict geometric pattern is constructed. The geometrical pattern at the top surface fuses to the bottom layer through a series of multi-directional arches. The generated form is manufactured using digital fabrication.
